- We recommend the use of a M die to avoid scraping the coating off when seating the bullet. We use a Lyman M die for all cast rifle bullets. Our Hi-Tek coated 30 caliber 168 gn bullets are cast from hardball 92-6-2 lead. Coated with Hi-Tek coating. Then sized to .309. Hi Tek coated bullets achieve higher velocities with less powder compared to jacketed or lead lubed bullets. No lead fouling with easy cleaning. The savings of our Hi-Tek coated bullets is nearly half the price of jacketed bullets. So you can have more fun and practice at the range. We take pride in our quality and workmanship.
